Buy something else

I purchased 15 thermostats for our office. Over the past 2 years we have had over a 50% failure rate. Most are due to the faulty WiFi chip, but we’ve also had one thermostat run heat in cool mode. Customer service is great though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

4 Nest 3rd Generation Installed

We have one Nest 3rd generation that we installed a while ago for our forced air system. It was easy and we like the ease of use and ability to use wi-fi to raise or lower temperature if we are away or returning from a trip.
I recently installed 4 thermostats in our other place where we have radiant heat. It was easy to do as before and the only thing I was unhappy about, for a very short time, was that the display came on every time we walked by. Well, checking the options, I found that we can remove that feature in "Display". However, we decided to keep it on the bathroom thermostat. It gives off just enough light to be helpful for those late night necessities!
We are extremely happy with the Nests we are using. The support offered is excellent.

Learning Thermostat

Compared to other thermostats with similar features this is/can be (lots of beauty rings to change/upgrade the look. I chose Stainless Steel with a Marble look ring) a very elegant & important part of pride in home, but also knowing you are saving money in energy costs & you can control from ANYWHERE worldwide that you have a signal. Convenient!

Love Nest Tstat

I love the Nest thermostat. It was already here when i bought my house and I have since added 2 more. I have separate AC and Heat stats and I added zone heating in the basement and now have 3 total. The only issue I had was needing to add the common wire. Sometimes the system would throw an error code since we didn't have a common wire but since adding the common I have had no issues. Love the App and the device itself.

Product scheduling is too complicated need to be more easier to where you can select the same schedule for each day or custom but not have to go into each day to schedule
