Love my Nest

I bought the Nest for one reason - the thermostat is upstairs! With kids in the house that turn the air or heat off rather than adjusting the thermostat, I needed a way to correct their adjustments. Now I can do it from my phone or my desktop. The abililty to schedule my environment is an additional bonus.

Easy and that’s what I need

I’m not sure if there is a group of people in the world that really desire to spend quality alone time with their thermostats, but that’s not me at all. My previous thermostats had a ton of functions, big screens, loads of complex things you can do... The problem was I didn’t want to spend that much time and effort. These thermostats (I have two) were simple to install, easy to use and that’s the kind of thermostat relationship I’m interested in. The Nest product is intuitive and simple, and it is working for me, instead of me working for it. It goes on about its business and I go about mine. It learns my heating and AC needs and attempts to meet them. I like that.

Great thermostat

Nest thermostats are still the best out there. They look the best in my opinion, but more importantly they are easy to use for everyone in my home. We had a smart Honeywell thermostat from when the house was built, it had similar functions but was impossible to pair with phones and frequently had issues. I'm very happy with the switch back to Nest.

Extremely quick and easy setup

I had two Nest Thermostats installed in under an hour, and that included scraping the paint, patching the holes from the previous thermostats and touching up the paint.

Why wait for great?

If you’ve hesitated as I have to get the nest Gen 3, just do it. I travel a great deal and the Eco function is great, as it senses when you aren’t home. My existing Honeywell controller was not user friendly and I rarely ever touched it. Now I can control the thermostat from anywhere.
And who would think the nest is artwork? But it seriously is very sharp and eye catching!
