Great Thermostat & Amazing Control

This thermostat has excellent programming & learning features that allow you to better control your home’s heating/cooling. You can control it while at home & away from home which allows to to reduce energy consumption.

Works as expected. Make sure you have a solid connection to base. Snap on doesn’t quite describe the required connection. Setup a little frustrating until you get the logic of the control. I attached the C wire just for peace of mind. I was not sure during our mild temps it would keep charged, but I have no evidence otherwise.

gorgeous addition to the home

The Nest Learning Thermostat is gorgeous. It has a very high quality feel and appearance. The nest app made install absolutely simple. Having the option to show weather or clock on the display when you get near it is convenient and beautiful. The feeling is more of a statement than just appliance. I would say it is the Apple iPhone of additions to any home.

Nice looking. Way smaller than I thought it was. Should tell time and temp. Way too expensive. Just buy the cheaper one. Ez to install.

With Nest Learning Thermostat, there is a feature called ¨farsight” where you can choose what to display when you passed by:
- target temperature
- current temperature
- analog clock
- digital clock
- weather
Also, you’ll be able to choose what is displayed on your thermostat like the current temperature or the weather, switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius, reset your schedule or all settings, and more. You can do these in your settings.

This is a great product. works perfect with alexa, and the web page on your phone, app is not too good, you don't need it anyway the web page does it all. go slow and easy during setup.
it is years ahead of the rest we all have in our homes. spin the dial to the temp you want then adjust for change and the nest remembers what you want. that part is very spooky, but cool.

Great product

I love this thermostat. It’s great style, ease of operating and the way I can control the temperature from anywhere is a big bonus. I want to purchase the other products as well. Not only looks great on the wall it works great! When I walk by the thermostat the current temperature shows or you can set it to what you want to view when you are close. Thats just the beginning of what the Nest can do.

Look is downplayed but sleek and stylish. Ease of use on thermostat and app is perfect. Very happy that this is my first product introduction into home automation. Highly recommend and will be purchasing more Neat products in the near future.
