Loved it, got another one!

I received my first Nest a year ago for Christmas and loved it. I found it easy to install and operate. It has a sleek\modern attractive design. I got s second one for my second home. It was also easy to install. I enjoy the remote operation through the app on my iPhone. When at one house, I can monitor the other and make adjustments as needed. I also enjoy the “Eco” setting so when I am away from the house it will not get too hot/cold. When I am away from the house it senses that, and makes adjustments. Love it.

Love my nest

I love this thermostat. The literature talks more about the learning feature than setting a schedule. I chose a different approach and created a schedule on my app. Then I let it do its thing. If I am not home, the thermostat goes into eco mode and saves me $$. When I arrive it knows I am there and turns on the heat.
My old unit was hard to program and the temp was never where I wanted it.

It was my best decision that I replaced my manual thermostat with Nest Learning Thermostat. It is doing all my required settings itself.

The Nest thermostat does exactly what it says it will. It's easy to set up for someone with very basic do-it-yourself knowledge. Just follow the instructions.
