Worth the Money

I really like the nest very easy to install and operate. It also has a very sleek look and easy to see at night. If you are looking into getting one I would highly recommend it.

best thermostat

Nest is so easy to set up and use. The temperature can be adjusted from the phone app, even when you're not home, so you can come home to a perfect temperature. It's schedule and learning feature helps to keep temperatures consistent, so you don't have to constantly adjust the dial. Customer service is amazing.

Easy Install, Excellent Documentation

I did the install. The install doc & video were very accurate, thorough & comprehensive. The steps to install were complete & easy to follow. When complete, everything functioned accurately (thermo on the wall, Nest web interface & iPhone App). The internal level is a really nice feature! This is my 4th Nest thermostat, all functioning w/out issue.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A great upgrade

I really like my new thermostat, particularly the nest aware function. Now my furnace goes off and my camera comes on when I leave the house and vice-versa. It was far easier to program and much easier to update than any pervious thermostat that I have owned. My only criticism is that the included back-plate is a cheap piece of plastic, totally unworthy of the thermostat. If Nest does not want to include a nice one, they should either offer one or sponsor one that is totally compatible. That notwithstanding I would still recommend this to anyone.

Works Perfect

Easy to setup and use. The home and away function is awesome and in the long run will probably save money.
Not sure how long it takes to learn or if it is a continuous process, but right now it does adjust at certain times of day, which is just cool. I would recommend to anyone.

This thermostat works fine and looks good. Due to my lifestyle I do not have many occasions to need to adjust the temperature remotely from my phone. But I like that the option is available should the need arise. It is a nice looking product. They should offer a backplate that matches the thermostat at time of sale. The one that comes with it looks very cheap. I purchased one from Amazon.

Moving away from conventional thermostats

I have had the Nest for 2 years now and it has help save money by using less energy due to it capability to adjust to my family's lifestyle of when we are home or away.
