Equipment good. Set up so so

I love the device and set up was simple. I was so pleased I bought a second one BUT then that's when all the issues began. The set up for the second device took over an hour on the phone with tech support on the phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Incredible Device!

Three people recommended we purchase a NEST Thermostat, and boy am I glad we did. We bought an older home that had been rented out for 6 years after the previous owner had died. I think the thermostat was at lease 10-20 years old, all I know is that it was impossible to program anymore. We paid an electrician to install the NEST but frankly I could have done it myself. I did install it myself on my iPhone and it was simple. It is easy to program from the thermostat itself and even easier from the iPhone. I find that I am sitting on the couch and turning the heat on and off since I don't need to get up anymore. If it is set for 70, it goes off when it reaches 70 not 72 or 74, and goes on again at 69, not 67 or 68. We are thrilled with our purchase!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

There are a lot of options with this device to choose from. I don't use all the features but if someone did like all the options then it does work very well.

Love love love my nest!

I don't think I've touch itsince I've installed it. I love being able to change my temperature from my phone, watch, or Google home mini. The installation is very very simple and the app is easy to use.

Sleek thermostat!

You're probably like "my thermostat works fine", but if you're like me, it's kinda fun to see the charts and see how much you used your heating/cooling. Plus it knows when you're not around and doesn't waste energy keeping an empty house warm (or cool). Just neat!

Upgrade to a Nest!

We had older model programmable thermostats (2) in our home. Seems like sometimes they would work and other times no. Was difficult to go through the various menu options in order to get the schedule that was needed. After reading several reviews and a discount from my gas company I purchased 2. Wish I would have done so sooner! The installation was a breeze! I am middle age and somewhat tech savvy but the instructions were simple, and precise.
MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW THE COMPATIBILITY INSTRUCTIONS! I feel a lot of folks don’t and then get frustrated that the Nest doesn’t work.
Highly recommend this product!

Great Thermostat

This a great thermostat and I bought the remote thermostat to go to with it. I love being able to control the temperature with my phone and Alexa. Works great so far and was easy to install.
