I just installed two thermostats. Very easy to install and setup. The App seems to work fine but I have only had it a few days. They are expensive but worth the cost.

Great hardware with meh software. Google forced nest integration to their home and now you need both apps. Sometimes the “intelligent” feature modifies the schedule against what you want. Changing the schedule via the app works, but you set each day individually and when you make a change it’s tedious modifying every day. Remote adjustments do work and I can heat the house before returning from a trip which is a great feature. Lastly I now feel like google is spying on me and I no longer trust their product commitment and data integrity. I would look for another fully integrated standalone product so I don’t have the google integration and multi-app issues.

Performing a factory data reset on Nest Learning Thermostat may be helpful with the issue. You may need to remove your thermostat from your account in the app before using this option to reset to defaults. Keep in mind that resetting your Nest Learning Thermostat will erase all data, and we recommend writing down the wiring information so you can easily enter your thermostat's wiring if needed. On your thermostat, go to Settings > Nest settings icon > and then Equipment. You may want to do this for other settings such as system heating type and Safety Temperature as well. To reset your Nest Learning Thermostat, follow the steps below:
- Press on the display for your Nest Learning Thermostat.
- Go to Settings > and then Reset > then choose All Settings.
- You may need to set up your Nest Learning Thermostat after it finishes the reset process.
- Your Nest Learning Thermostat will start learning your preferred temperature preference and schedule during the first week of use and create an Auto-Schedule for you.

Great for the home

Our house was fine before, but with nest it's great! It feels like we are actually being cooled off when we lower the temperature. Being able to adjust the temp from my phone or Google Assistant is brilliant. Extremely happy with my purchase!

Google Nest Learning Thermostat

I have no clue where to begin other than to say that this so far has been an amazing experience for the last 2 weeks since having installed the Google Nest Learning Thermostat. Last year during the middle of the pandemic, I conquered being able to purchase a condo. Still in the phase of setting up my own place, I initially thought about swapping out my thermostat last year. However, being that I’m not an electrician of any sort I quickly changed my mind once I pulled off my old thermostat and saw all those wire. Had no clue about how to go about upgrading to a newer app/Wi-Fi compatible thermostat. Well a year later and finally really researching how to upgrade I’m a little upset I didn’t change it last year. Google really lays out step by step process in teaching you how to upgrade your thermostat and/or calling a professional to do it for you. I absolutely love my new thermostat and I’m still “learning,” along with my new smart home thermostat. Get it if you can. You won’t regret it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
