Elegant and Useful

I am very happy with my Nest, it has adjusted the temperature thus helping us save money and keeping us comfortable. The sleek modern design fit perfect with our decor. Highly recommend.

can't maintain internet connection on mesh system

love the basic thermostat, however using an orbi mesh system just does not work high/erattic pings disconnect every time you use the app, temp has a mind of its own, settings or schedule be da;;;;
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Connectivity issues for Nest thermostat may be caused by several reasons such as Wi-Fi network congestion, distance of the device from the router, wireless interference with other Wi-Fi hotspots or devices nearby and other Wi-Fi settings. The erratic behavior you observed with the Nest Learning Thermostat may happen as an effect of the Wi-Fi connectivity issue and the learning process for it. Nest Learning Thermostat has the feature called Auto-Schedule that learns from the temperature changes you make on the thermostat over time and then creates its own schedules. You can turn off this feature to control the thermostat schedules all by yourself. Here's how you can turn it off:
With the Nest app:
- Open the Nest app and select your Nest thermostat.
- Select Settings and then Auto-Schedule.
- Tap the switch to turn it off.
On your thermostat:
- Press the ring and choose Settings and then Nest Sense and then Auto-Schedule and then Off.
We also recommend clearing the existing schedules by selecting Settings, then Reset, then Schedule and Reset again.

This is the second thermostat that I’ve installed in my home. It was easy to follow the instructions and very quick to set up. Much quicker than my programable one. Be sure to check out the comparability checker befor you get started to ensure the Nest will work with your system. In no time at all I had it installed and ready to go. I even aded an optional sensor for my second floor loft.
