Wonderful technology addition

I love my Nest thermostat. I gave it a four because it is still too expensive for most of the people it could really help. It was extremely easy to install. I did 2 of them. One at my significant other’s house that was very straight forward & step by step as described; then 1 at my house which had a little different wiring I had to work with. I was still able to figure out what needed to be done using the instructions and had it up and going in less than 20 minutes. Works well with Alexa and its app is easy to use also. Loved it enough to buy the camera to watch my dogs with!

Read all about install before buying

Thermostat was simple to install except one little detail they left out in the instructions. If you have a 2 wire thermostat you will have to purchase a minimum of 3 wire thermostat wire and then wire it up to your heating system. If you have AC and Heat then no problem. Easy to setup and I really like the little screwdriver that comes with it. It makes installing so much easier to install.

Upgrade from a decent thermostat and I can’t see myself going back to another thermostat. Easy to use and the learning feature really help to keep my house in the desired temperature how I like it.

Great product, bad interoperability

Love this product and it’s ease of use, but very disappointed that the Works with Nest features are being pulled back and removed. It’s really reduced the usefulness and the features I was promised at the time of purchase.

We have Google Hub, Google Home & Google Mini. We ha 2 Google Nest thermostats& 1 Nest Hello Doorbell. Great products. We love them!

The Nest thermostat is a terrific product for those who wish to save money and have more control over there cooling and heating home systems. Works well with Google Assistant and there are so many things you can do with it to help you save money and be comfortable in your own home. Setup was very easy, and I am not a technical person. I would definitely purchase this again.
