We are very happy with our Nest Learning Thermostat. We've only had it a month, so can't really tell yet how much energy we'e saving, but it is so easy to use. I love the fact that you can check the outside temperature right on the thermostat, as well as the indoor humidity.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was able to install and use this thermostat without any assistance, the directions and installation video were exceedingly clear. It has only been installed a couple of days and it is already learning my habits. Love it.

I am currently in an unusual situation where I had a flood and I have been out of my home for the last two months. I had a nest installed when I received it as a birthday present and it has saved me a lot of money this winter. First, while we were not in the home, I set the eco mode to 58 degrees and it has been really easy to track. During the cleanup of the flood, the remediation company cut a hole in the ductwork for draining water. I have been following the usage of the heating system and I noticed a large spike one day. Sure enough, the patch for draining the water opened up and I was heating the cellar. I was able to get right on that. I have since turned the heat up for curing new floorboards which are getting installed today.
Hey, the nest is pretty to look at, however, it is a pretty incredible and simple to use the device. I have no questions it really pays for itself. I am a 100% advocate of this amazing technology.

I have two Nest thermostats controlling my home.
They have performed beyond my expectations. So far I am very pleased with them. There is no downside, that I can see, to them.
