Best thermostat

I love being able to adjust the temperature from any where. And it can set schedules not to have adjust. Anything.

Learning feature is horrible keeps shutting off. Not sure if I will keep it. I have called a couple of times to get help.

With Auto-Schedule, your Nest thermostat learns what temperatures you like at different times of the day. It will take a few days before it learns your patterns. For the instances that the system is shutting off, your Home/Away Assist might be turned on, or due to the recent schedule. You can use your Nest thermostat as a traditional thermostat to keep your desired temperature. Here’s how:
With the Nest app:
- Open the Nest app and select your Nest thermostat.
- Select Settings and then Auto-Schedule.
- Tap the switch to turn it off.
On your thermostat:
- Press the ring and choose Settings and then Nest Sense and then Auto-Schedule and then Off.
We also recommend clearing the existing schedules by selecting Settings, then Reset, then Schedule and Reset again.

A “gadgeteer’s” dream

It, the Nest, was easy to install and set up. When it said is was ready to go to work, it was. We’ve used it to program our house, change settings from foreign locations and, best of all, it has learned us and does things to make our lives more comfortable. Marvelous little device.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Nest is so user friendly, accurate, and smart that you can’t go wrong. I installed it myself and it was easy, straightforward, and took maybe 15 minutes. I love the feature of telling you how long until you reach your desired temperature

Nest Thermostat

Had this installed with a replacement HVAC unit. It does a adequate job as most thermostats do but I do not see any major cost benefits in purchasing this expensive unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's Too Easy and Too Awesome!

If you have never owned a thermostat that learns your habitats, you are definitely missing out. This is my first and will be my last, unless Nest designs anything better...but how could they. Ease of use and setup (even for a dummy like myself) was key for me and my wife. But then learning how to operate from the thermostat and the app wasn't so hard like I would have thought. At first I was apprehensive to purchase...which is the better of my choices? I chose this one for its design and feel as well as other reviews like this one. If you are on the fence or don't know which one will work for you, don't look any further. Pick up the box, install and begin the journey with your Nest. Your electric bill and peace of mind will only be just one reason to consider this product.

There are a lot of factors why your Nest Learning Thermostat gets disconnected from the Wi-Fi network. The most common reasons are router settings or Wi-Fi interference, power issue, and incompatible router.
