My Nest Thermostat

What a treat to to add this Nest to our home. It looks attractive and is so easy to use. Setting the temperature from my app when I'm away from home and seeing when my kids come and go is a super feature!

The thermostat does not have a hold temperature settings. When you leave your home for vacation you have to reprogram your entire 7 day calendar as their is no hold temp on the stat. It’s a pain in the butt.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you´re willing to try, the Eco mode feature on the Nest Learning Thermostat functions the same way as the hold feature. When you manually set your thermostat to Eco Temperatures, it will stay in that mode and won’t automatically switch back to heating or cooling until you manually switch it to other modes. You may need to manually set and program the Eco Temperatures on your Nest Learning Thermostat if you haven't yet, then you can manually (using the Google Home app) or automatically (using Home/Away Assist) set it to Eco mode. Effortless install and use

Not only does the nest look beautiful on my wall but it is so simple and functional and does exactly what it’s supposed to. We almost rarely have to adjust it because it knows our households schedule. Best thermostat period.

The Nest has been a wonderful help in the home. The lock feature keeps my kids from adjusting the temperature when I am away and the app is amazing. Excellent product!

I updated my old thermostats and only expected a new looking thermostat... but the features like usage history have helped me save money and identify opportunities to create more granular schedules to enhance our comfort at the same time! Also great to see the current weather at a glance
