Easier than expected.

I’m not great at a lot of new technology. I was hesitant to buy this at first, but using it is a breeze. I especially like convenience of controlling the thermostat with my app when I’m not home.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good product, but...

Nest doesn't leave enough room for a real review, but suffice it to say that if you have a dual-fueled system (i.e., heat pump) you have to get professional installers and there are additional wires that may be needed to keep the batteries charged - neither of which are documented on the web site or the app until you get in the middle of installation.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought one for each apartment

I enjoy the ease of use and simple set up that I purchased one for each of my apartments I rent. The residents also enjoy know they are cutting down on the energy bill and everyone is helping lower energy consumption. The nest system works well with Google Assistant, changing the temperature where ever I am.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Working flawlessly

I have two and installed each one in less than an hour taking my time doing it. I love being able to control the AC in my Florida home while in Ohio and the heat in my Ohio home while in Florida.

I debated for a long time if it was really worth the money. I also have a heat pump and was worried it would be difficult to install. It was a little difficult to install but it wasn’t from the thermostat. For some reason I had two sets of thermostat wires coming into the house. Once I figured out what wire went where on my outside unit, the install was a piece of cake. Excellent product.

A gift from my son!

My son was visiting me for a week. He said he would like to get me a new thermostat. Since mine was only three years old I didn't see that I needed a new one.
He insisted....installed it and....he was right. Love it!
