First day with Nest

I was figuring that it was going to be a pain to install and set up the nest. So when I opened the box I found instuctions on how to install but I did not find a step by step how to set up so I was a little worried. I installed the nest in less than ten minutes. Setup to my surprise was extremely simple. I've only had my nest installed for a day but can say my house is more comfortable now than it was with my old programmable thermostat. Love all the feature especially the option to run the fan every hour for my choice of time. Wish nest would give us the ability to control the humidity levels in our home.

Nest is the best

I first purchased the nest because I love new technology. After purchasing I realized there is a lot more to it. The installation was easy. I ran into a few snags but bugging the website it manual could not answer. It is easy to use and I have already noticed a decrease in the amount of energy I use.

Easy to Install and Easier to Use

Loved how easy this was to set up. I did it by myself with no prior electrical experience. Even in a house built in 1949, it works great and adds a little touch of modern. Would definitely recommend to those folks that always forget to turn the thermostat down when they go out of town!

New Nest

Just purchased and installed the nest learning thermostat. Selected product as already had a nest camera which has worked very well for over a year. was looking mainly for the ability to control home temperatures when we were away. Used my old thermostat just by programing regular routine but excited to be able to over ride settings anytime we are away. Installation was simple and is working fine after 2 weeks. Was everything as advertised to date.

Excellent product

We love our Nest thermostat! It's very easy to set up and use and it learned us very quickly. The only very small downside we've had with it, which isn't a big problem at all, is that if you want to adjust the temperature sometimes it changes itself back to where you normally have it set at that time of day. You just have to set it again, no big deal.

Your Home has waited for this

Look I had a Z-Wave thermostat connected to my ADT system so I already had all the remote functionalities, however the Nest thermostat was an enormous upgrade. It not just functionality that matters but also the look and on the regular Nest (Not Nest E) you get this feature that when you walk by it lights up and provides info (you can select what to display). Nest also works flawlessly with ADT.
