The nest works great and while we were out of town we were notified that our furnace quit working. This is a great feature for cold temperatures here in Minnesota. My daughter was able to come to the house while we arranged for repairs. That in itself paid for the thermostat since we could have ended up with burst waterlines.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Nest Learning Thermostat is a great way to help you monitor and control your home temperature when you are home or when you are away. It is easy to use, a snap to set up and easy to install (even for a novice, not technical person).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Installation is very easy. Had minimal problem with initial wiring set up, but easily rectified without calling tech support. Worked immediately. Self explanatory. APP easily to follow and use. Fit and finish excellent. Has unique heating and cooling options. Control your house from anywhere in the world!

best thing I could have ever done for my home

This thermostat is amazing, easy to use, and really saves me money! The tech support was super helpful when I was installing it, (because myself have never installed one before) and got me up and running quick! It has been a breeze to use, especially with the app. Eco mode had learned my routine and saved me quite a bit of money on my power bill! Worth every penny!

I have only had two thermostats in my house. The nest and the one that was in my house originally. The old one didn't work mostly because it was so difficult to program and so we never really did. We suffered through that one for 30 years.
One of my kids gave me the Nest and it was connected and set to "Learn" in about 20 minutes. With in a few days it had our habits down and programmed in. Have not done a thing with it since except enjoy it!

This thermostat is so easy to install and easy to use. Download the app and you are on your way. This is our 2nd Nest thermostat. We moved to a new home so we installed one as soon as we could!
