I could not mess this up

I was given a Nest thermostat as a winter holiday gift. I thought it pretty neat, but was not overly excited to tear open the box and install it. After all, the thermostat in the house worked just fine and there is always a chance that I might mess up an attempted home repair. Finally in late February, on a Saturday when I had nothing else to do, I opened the box, read the instructions, became confused, but resolved to soldier on. I figured if I could get the device installed and it did not work I could always put the old thermostat back on. Needless to say, the thing practically installed itself and as we all know, it basically works itself. Even I could not mess it up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nest Thermostat

Do not read this, just go buy it. So easy to install my 12 could figure it out, easy to use and unless you still have a flip phone the app is easy to use and makes living easy. It is as cool as you think it is.

Used Nest 3rd Gen in our New Home

We recently moved into a new home and I installed the Nest 3rd Gen. In our previous home I had purchased and installed a Honeywell Lyric because in 2014 when I installed the Lyric the Nest didn't offer geofencing. I had a fair amount of issues and frustration with the Lyric not working, slow phone app etc.
So far I have been super happy with the Nest. Installation was a piece of cake, the phone app in Android is super snappy even though my phone is on the older side. The build quality on the Nest is top notch, has a beautiful screen and is wonderful to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So Much Easier and Accurate

This thermostat has enabelled me to adjust the temperature througout my home from anywhere. so if I am upstairs and it's cold. I do not have to go downstairs to adjust the temp and so on. I love this thermostat. It looks so rich and fine and so easy to operate. Don't think about, just get it. You will not regret it whatsoever! You can thanks me later and you wil want to!

It’s worth the money

Yes, a nest thermostat is expensive up front, but in the long run it’s worth every penny and maybe more. The amount of money you save and easy functionality make this product excellent!

Simple Excellence

The simplicity of the install is what makes this product so appealing to the masses. After a simple install, the software and the app makes it very simple to use. I like how Nest is making seemingly difficult home additions simple enough for the average person to do without have to hire help. While I didn't have any difficulty, I challenged my wife to do the install to prove this point.
The app on the other hand could use a little help. It is a little too simple. A few tabs that point to or explain what's going on would be helpful.
Great job Nest. This was as easy as saying the "Alphabet"....
