Easy to setup and no issues. Very nice having the app and smart learning tech now. Easy enough for most anybody to replace their existing thermostat.

Needed to replace a couple of old thermostats in our two-story home, so did a ton of research into smart thermostats, as I'm a tech nerd who likes trying out new things and had already heard/read a good bit about Nest and other smart products. In the end, decided to go with two of the Nest Learning Thermostats and could not be more pleased. From the packaging to the feel of the units, to the included wall plates to the online resources to help with installation, I just had a solid positive experience. I could see how some folks could be a little intimidated with the wiring hook-ups, but the online guide definitely helps in that regard a lot and as long as you take your time actually following the guidance you'll be good to go. I got the first one completely changed out and operating properly in less than an hour, while the second one took less than 15 mins because I knew exactly what I was doing at that point and already had the wiring configuration copied down and ready to roll. They have been operating beautifully ever since. Very nice units, and I would highly recommend for anyone wanting to upgrade or do a new install.

Best Thermostat

The Nest is the best thermostat hands down. Simple to install for most everyone. It learns from you and will be the last thermostat you will ever need to own! Do yourself a favor and get one now and give them as gifts, everyone will thank you!

Our Old House Loves the Nest

Our beautiful 1901 Connecticut Victorian is a bit of a nightmare to heat. One zone, hot water radiators with a boiler & pump. We have had cold spots in a few areas in the past that had pipe problems when it got pretty cold outside. Three years ago we started traveling in our RV to the Southwest for 2 or 3 months so if it got especially cold we had to bother a neighbor to come over and adjust the thermostat up to prevent any frozen pipe problems. This winter we were able to monitor the weather and adjust as needed, even turning things up for a contractor to comfortably do some renovations while we were gone! I think we really saved some significant dough and it was easy to manage with the phone app once we practiced with it a bit (we are not that technically oriented). Love the product and its performance. Thank you!

I am pleasantly surprised at how well the Nest Learning Thermostat performs. It learned my preferences in less than a week. The app is very easy to use and explanations are easy to understand. I would definitely recommend this product.

I love this product I had a friend install it for me cuz I didn't think I could do it but he figured I could he said it was pretty easy but it works great and it works with my Alexa app so I can tell my Alexa to turn it up and down that is nice when I walk by it pops up and tells me the time the date and the temperature outside as well as inside I love it I think it's the best thing ever I am a big technical geek and this thing has been awesome.
