so good, wanted one for years, its awesome

This is the best thermostat I ever owned. It came with the house we purchased and I got to tell you I was excited to see it on the wall when we were looking for houses. That said I cannot speak for the installation process since it was already there. However it was simple as a few clicks to get it connected to the WIFI for total remote controlling on the Nest app.Pros:*I can change the temperature/schedule/on/off the unit from my cell phone in any room of the house without needing to go to the downstairs hall.*using dual mode it will automatically switch from AC mode to Heat mode based on your temperature selections*it has Heat only, AC only or dual auto stitching mode*Nest app is easy to use and a 1 stop shop for all things google nest.CONS:I dont really know what the "learning" feature does Highly recommend this product, if you are undecided, let me push you in the direction of this unit, you won't regret it.

I purchased the Nest thermostat to replace an old thermostat that wasn't working properly. The app had step by step instructions for installation so that was pretty easy. It works great and has so many features that I didn't know about. I love that it learns my habits and can be adjusted from my phone anywhere I am. I would definitely recommend.

I love how it lights up with the outside weather and temp as you walk near it. (My eyesight is not the best and even without glasses it is still easy.) It also gives the temp for 3 later times so you know how the temp will be changing. With a simple touch you can see your inside temp and change it with a simple turn and it lets you know how long it will take to reach that temperature.

These review comment boxes are so short! Overall I find the hardware to be excellent. The package contained everything including a small screwdriver to undo the old thermostat wires, and was a snap to install. The Nest itself is solid. The app is great overall but takes unacceptably long to load, even without cameras. Otherwise app is easy to use and great to adjust temp away from home.

The installation took a little time only because of the older furnace we have. The ease of use is great. We have been able to save about 3% so far on our energy bills. The app is very easy to use and I like receiving the monthly updates.
