This is an excellent product. So easy to install, it litterally took 10 minutes after reading the instructions and watching a video. Works perfectly with our existing system. I love the app! It’s so easy to create your schedule for temperature changes. No more standing in the hallway pushing buttons through a frustrating set up cycle. Open the app and voila! Done. Thank you Nest for creating a product that works and has simple functionality.

Great product! The install was a breeze and the unit cools and heats my home much more efficiently, i no longer have to push into the high energy usage temps to keep my house comfortable and that’s not only great for saving energy but also easier on the wallet every month! With the rebates and energy savings offered by my local electrical company it basically pays me to use it and that is how technology should work for us all.

Greatest Thermostat

I am had the Nest Thermostat in my home for about 4 months now and have ejoyed all of the features this thermostat provides. The history function as one of my favorites, showing the run times on my furnace for each day. This has allowed me to schedule my furnace more efficiently. The history function shows the outside air temperature sensor giving me more insight into why my furnace or air conditioning may have run for longer periods during the week than normal. Also, having the ability to monitor the temperature in my house remotely from my cellphone as been amensily beneficial to help me save propane costs during the winter months.
I have little kids that love to play with the thermostat, the Nest Thermostat allows me to lock out changes with a simple 4 digit password, that of course I won't share with the kids.

After living with the "old" technology, I decided to try out the Nest. I'm still learning new things about it however it is great to be able to control the temperature wherever I am. I live in the desert and travel quite a bit in the summer, so this is going to save me quite a bit!

Great Product

Replaced Honeywell thermostat (RTH9580) with this nest thermostat after having issues with aux heat. This thermostat offers a lot more control over the use of auxiliary heat unlike the Honeywell model. The controls are very clear and easy to navigate. I also like the nest app, very well thought out. I would definitely recommend this product.
