Make A Difference

We tried the Nest T-Stats at home and were so impressed we changed our office building to Nest controlled. No more leaving the house for a day and realizing we forgot to lower the temp or raise it, no more late workers at the office leaving the heat or A/C settings high when is there is no one there. I can check it and change it from anywhere for me that is where Nest is Best I'm in control.

Love it but ...

I do love the nest learning thermostat, love the app feature. But unable to hold a constant temperatur and for some reason it needed to be charged up 3 times since I got it. The only feature I like is that I can control the thermostat on my phone and I can see my usage history. I would like to see more if not all of my usage history, so when I get my bill I can compare the usage and the charges.

Sleek look, saves $$

No joke. I was a skeptic on hope it would save for me, but it has more features than you were told it has. Like being able to shut off the AC unit, but maintain the fan on to utilize the cold air created by cool coils and what not. The learning feature is also cool, butt if you have pets, it's a must to be able to control the temperature remotely and keep a comfortable environment for them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had the Nest Thermostat about 2 weeks. I went away for Christmas and my wifi was down about an hour before I had to go to the airport. I set the the thermostat at 64 but to my dismay the learning thermostat set my temperature to 72 during the day so my eco Nest heated my house an entire week while I was gone and it was empty. The instructions are nil so I did not know how to manually override the program if I can even do that. I would love to go back to a manual one. It was very expensive to waste energy and more of my money. When I returned home this evening it was at 72 degrees. A comedy of errors!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You can use your Nest thermostat as a traditional programmable thermostat where you can manually set the temperature and create your schedules. Here’s how:
With the Nest app:
- Open the Nest app and select your Nest thermostat.
- Select Settings and then Auto-Schedule.
- Tap the switch to turn it off.
On your thermostat:
- Press the ring and choose Settings and then Nest Sense and then Auto-Schedule and then Off.
We also recommend clearing the existing schedules by selecting Settings, then Reset, then Schedule and Reset again.

This thermostat is simple to install and set up. I like that I can make adjustments from anywhere but also that I don’t have to think about it when I’m gone because it knows I’m not home and adjusts accordingly. As a first responder, my schedule is unpredictable and with this device I know I’m not wasting money heating/cooling my home while I’m at work for days on end.
I would recommend this to a friend!
