Clean & convenient

We had this included with a solar installation so it was a nice upgrade to the interior of our home. It looks clean and I like being abort to control and manage the settings from my phone.

I purchased this to add to my IQ Indoor Cam. I have been wanting to automate my house for some time and am going to start doing so slowly. I finally purchased this and installed it myself, was easy to do so because the thermostat I replaced was a smart thermostat already. But I wanted for everything to be on the same app for my family for ease of use.
We love it so far. I cannot give it a 5 star rating just yet until I see how the learning goes. It says that this will take about 90 days for the learning to get to know your routines, which makes perfect since!

I will be purchasing the doorbell next and adding cameras to the outdoors for more protection.
Everything is working as promised thus far! Strongly recommend and easy to use!

Technology Even I understand

I decided to buy this thermostat as a way to save money with my gas company. I was a bit hesitant due to the technology. I am here to tell you this was the easiest thing I did. Literally, from the time I opened the box until the the unit was installed and operational, AND the app was installed and configured on my phone took less than 10 minutes.
Once I installed it on the wall, the device walked me through the setup which was easy and seamless. IF I had more thermostats in my house I would install these in a New York Heartbeat.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent for Frequent Travelers

As an airline pilot I spend a good amount of time away from home. In order to conserve energy, I always adjust the temperature before leaving on a trip. Before getting a Nest I either came home to a home that was hot or cold, or I had to mess with a programmable thermostat that I could only adjust at the house. The Nest makes it incredibly simple to both set up a schedule and change it if need be. It’s great to be able to select one setting (Eco mode) before leaving the house and then to heat/cool the house as soon as I land from my phone.

i love this sexy thing on my wall, setting up was easy. i love it , you can see temp" with big number everything shinning. the Eco mod is save money, also setting your heating or ac schedule is supper easy , event of you don't setup and schedule the nest have learning schedule

I started noticing the Nest Thermostat several years ago and decided I would probably replace my programmable thermostat with a Nest. I bought one for me and my mom. Hers replaced an old mercury type that was not programmable. I replaced hers first and it worked like promised. She has been really happy with it. She told me just yesterday that she pulled up the app on her tablet to turn the heat up and it was already set to the temperature she was going to. After a couple of wiring issues with my Nest, I have been really happy with its performance. It has adapted to our lifestyle and keeps our home comfortable. I would recommend you consider one for your home. My next Nest purchase will be the doorbell.
