Very pleased with my Nest unit. Saved us more than I thought. Very easy to use through smart phone. Even my Wife loves it!

The Nest Learning Thermostat is just that. It learns from your input, and before you know it the Nest is turning the temperature up or down for you, according to your habit. With the Home/Away feature it automatically saves energy without any manual input, and it doesn’t cycle your equipment unnecessarily, saving money and extending the life of your system.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nest 3rd Generation Thermostat

I replaced my wifi programmable Honeywell with this Nest model and I love the upgrade. I like how easy it to use plus the fact that it lights up when I'm close so I can see the temperature. The main reason why I got it is because of the additional features it has over my last thermostat. Being able to see my daily usage of the system as well as why I'm using more or less is great! I put a schedule on my Nest and I like the fact that it will even go into econ mode during this time if I'm not home to save energy if my schedule changes. I like the fact that this unit has a change filter reminder on it, although I would like to be able to see a running hours total and be able to adjust the running time reminder for the filter change.

Awesome upgrade

Love the ease of installing this thermostat. Super intuitive to install and took me less than 5 minutes to get it going. Would prefer to be able to connect the device to WiFi via the app instead of having to scroll through the menu on the thermostat. So convenient using the app to set the temperature we almost never adjust the dial anymore. Looking forward to more Nest products in our home!

A Must Have

In terms of building up a smart home, this should be the cornerstone. It's easy to install, easy to use, looks beautiful, and just works. Even energy savings aside, it's nice to be able to adjust the thermostat from anywhere (including the couch while watching TV when you don't feel like getting up). Do yourself a favor and buy one of these!
