Managing energy never looked so good!

I love my Nest thermostat! It's easy, with a nice design, and it helps me manage energy consumption when I'm at home or away. I love this product and would recommend everyone have one. It's so great to have a scheduling function and automatic "Away" features for when you're at work or on vacation.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Super easy to install

My wife worried that we wouldn't have heat after I was done installing the Nest. (And, to be honest, I shared her fears a little.) But, the instructions included with the Nest and the online walk-throughs made things fantastically simple. They even included stickers so you'd remember which wires went where!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have not seen a thermostat where you have to renew the low speed fan every 12 hours.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you have a system with a dedicated fan wire, you can manually turn on the fan with the app or your thermostat, or set a fan schedule. For example, you can set the fan to run all night and automatically turn off in the morning. Please see the steps below that might be helpful:
Set a daily fan schedule with the thermostat:
- Press your thermostat ring to open the Quick View menu.
- Select Settings icon.
- Select Fan.
- Choose Schedule.
- Set how long you’d like your fan to run per hour, or set it to always run.
- Select what hours of the day you’d like your fan to run. If you have a multi-speed fan, you can select a fan speed for your fan schedule.
- Select Done to set your schedule.
- Your fan will turn on automatically each day for the time and duration you’ve selected.
Set a daily fan schedule with the Nest App:
- Tap the thermostat you’d like to control from the home screen.
- Tap Settings icon.
- Select Fan Schedule.
- For Every day, tap the slider to turn your fan schedule on or off.
- Set how long you’d like to run your fan per hour. You can choose 15, 30 or 45 minutes of run time, or select 60 minutes to run your fan for the whole hour.
- Choose what time you want your fan to start running, and when you’d like your fan to stop running this schedule. If you have a multi-speed fan, you can select a fan speed for your fan schedule.
-Your fan will turn on automatically each day for the time and duration you’ve selected. You can always edit or disable your schedule at any time from the fan menu.

Setup

It was easy to swap out the old one to this one but finishing setup was a little harder as I am not computer knowledgeable, had to get my wife to finish it. She was having problems figuring out what the different settings are & how to get it to work properly.
I would recommend this to a friend!
