Great device!

I am extremely happy with the function and useability of the Nest thermostat. I plan to add to the devices one at a time since I am so happy with the results I have had with this device.

Terrible at keeping my apartment cool

To try to be efficient, nest has my a/c turned off very frequently and just turns on when I walk past. Then it takes a long time for it to try to get things to the temperature it's supposed to be cooling to. I don't think I'm even saving money from it because my electric bill is ridiculously high.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Thermostat to own

I am gone for long periods of time. This thermostat helps me control my heating in the winter time, and lets me get the temp up when I will be home. Do not have to come into a cold house and wait for it to warm up. Takes care of not running when you leave the house for an extended period of time, no more forgetting to turn the heat down before you leave.

THIS NEST IS GREAT, NOT ONLY GREAT IT'S AWESOME. I AM ABLE TO CONTROL IT WHEREVER I AM. I CAN COME HOME AND WALK BY IT AND IT SENSES I AM HOME AND TURNS ON TO A COMFORTABLE TEMPERATURE. I CAN CONTROL IT FROM THE APP ON MY PHONE. WHEN I AM LAZY AND DON'T WANT TO GET UP TO SET IT TO A TEMP I WANT. IT REMINDS YOU OF FILTER CHANGES AS WELL. SOMETIMES I'LL FORGET. AWESOME THERMOSTAT!!!!!!

My loyalty wavered

I bought my first Nest learning thermostat for my first house in 2013. I absolutely loved it and it’s still there working great while we rent that property. When I moved into my new home in 2017, I thought I’d try something new. I bought the Ecobee4. I almost immediately regretted my decision. Sold it on Craigslist and bought a new Nest. Happy once again.

Great Product!

My wife and I love the Nest. We recently sold our home and moved to Cincinnati for work and we had a nest before. Our new loft didn’t have a nest but we were able to get one and install it. It makes dealing with a thermostat simple and fun. Blessings!
