If you have been thinking about getting a Nest thermostat just do it. It will pay for itself in no time. Also there are monetary benefits through SDG&E. I received a $25.00 gift card for enrolling and participating in a program with SDG&E. I don’t remember the name of it but just search Nest programs on the SDG&E website and all the information is there.

Once this thermostat was installed, we love it. We had one for several years and liked the way it operaqted so whenwe saw a good buy on this one, we decided to buy it.

I purchased this thermostat because it was on sale. I had considered purchasing one in the past but wasn't ready to pay the full price. Now that I have this installed I am very happy with how easy it is to use, program, and how it looks. It was very easy to install and it worked seamlessly with my existing HVAC system. It is notably easier to program than any other thermostat I've ever owned!

I bought the Nest because of ComEd's rebate. It arrived yesterday, so I don't know how much (or if) it will save me money on my bills. I can only comment on the installation and linking to Alexa, at this point. It was extremely easy to install, it took about 10 minutes. And once it was installed, downloading the Nest app, and linking it to Alexa was super easy as well. That took about another 5 minutes. It looks great on the wall, and I'm happy with it so far.

I looked at several smart thermostats from various manufacturers. I decided on the Nest, though it was a bit more than I had wanted to spend. Installation was easy, though I am experienced in wiring thermostats. Integration to Alexa was pretty straightforward. I set up several voice command routines in Alexa to turn the thermostat to the appropriate temperature when leaving or coming home.
