I don’t think there is enough information on how the learning works and why it changes to eco, when you are at home.

Rechearched all available unit's. Settled on Nest for ease of operation, looks and reputation. Very expressed wit app. Have other smart units. Some have not so good apps. set up was pretty good ,except "C" wire part ! Will be looking at other smart units for our home.

An upgrade

Just upgraded two of my three Nest thermostats from 2nd generation to 3 rd. Reason for the upgrade was to add remote sensors as two Thermostats were in poor locations in the home. The upgrade installation went smoothly but faster if a “ save program “ option were available. That would’ve prevented reprogramming the new thermostats. Not difficult but time consuming.

The time put into making this a great product shows thru easily. Everything needed to install myself is there.
YouTube video explaining instructions is there.
It even teaches me what the furnace colored wires are for which I never expected.
I love learning and this even thought me things on instillation. We all need more of this!

Excellent Product that Doesn't Dissappoint!

Very happy with my Nest. I purchased one about a year ago for our previous home. We moved and wanted to take it with us to the new however the buyer of our old home wanted it included. It goes to show that they are in demand. Needless to say, when we got to our new home, it became an essential first purchase for ensuring that we were enjoying the most energy efficient experience in our new home.
I would recommend this to a friend!
