Very happy with the functionality and look of our nest thermostat. It was very easy to install and set up. After a month my thermostat stopped connecting to the Wi-Fi and I contacted nest support. They were awesome to work with and when it was determined that my thermostat had a faulty Wi-Fi chip, a new one was sent to me within two days. Excellent customer service.

I need timers, schedules, calendars, etc in my busy, busy life and having this thermostat's ability to learn my family's heating and cooling preferences and schedules provides us with peace of mind knowing that we can be hands off knowing that 'NEST will do the rest'.

Best thermostat I’ve owned!

This Nest learning thermostat has been working flawlessly since installing it in my home. I am disabled so I use the Nest app and Alexa to adjust it and monitor the temps multiple times a day. With the exception of a couple of wifi dropouts it’s been operating perfectly. I would like better controls for the extra temperature sensors, just setting things like it is now is not good enough for me. It’s to hot or to cold everywhere else depending on the sensor I use, with no way to average them out…

Nest thermostat

Prior to buying it, I was made to understand that it is voice activated. However, that is not true. I am trying to have it interface with alexia as claimed to be.

Best thermostat out.

I used the Sensi WiFi for a few years. I was constantly changing the temps. The only cool thing about it was being able to lay in bed and change the temp without getting up. I installed the EcoBee4 and got the extra sensors. I set it up correctly but we were never comfortable. I had to play with it more than the Sensi and woke up with my newborn too cold or too hot way too much. It was never comfortable. My power bill almost double because it had turned the aux heat on even at 60 degrees. Possibly just a defective thermostat, I got the Nest and have been much more comfortable without changing the temps. Far better than the last three thermostats I’ve used. Very simple design and works well.
