Champ!!!!!!

This thermostat is perfect for me. I can control it from anywhere and anytime. The set up was very easy once you know what your cooling/heating unit is. And how it is heated with. Always read instructions and familiarize yourself with Nest installation set up process then go for it! Surprisingly easy! I highly recommend Nest for Fire/smoke/CM alarm, also.

why no customized schedules?

I like the google nest thermostat. The only reason I don't give this review five stars is for the simple fact that when using a sensor you cannot set your own sensor schedules. Now I know from doing some research on other smart thermostats that customizing your own schedule is completely possible. For this reason, I am unsure as to why google nest does not have this same feature. If the nest was to add an update to allow this I will change my review from three stars to five stars in a heartbeat.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replace Failed Thermostat

Tried another less expensive remote control thermostat which failed after couple of months.

Technology Making Life Better

While I don't have a ton of time to write up a full review like others. I'm slowly making my home "smart" and the nest was the first step. I can adjust the temperature from anywhere via my phone or other smart device. I just got a google home hub for Christmas so I can now adjust through that device as well. I would highly recommend it for any and everyone.

I originally bought this thermostat for a home I owned but did not live in. I wanted to be able to monitor the heat to insure that the pipes didn't freeze in the winter. I loved the look and the ease of use so much that I bought another one for my new condo I had just purchased. I am now a two-nester.....

Easy physical install and connecting it to the nest app and Google home was a breeze. Total install time about 20 minutes.
