The Nest thermostat is a definite upgrade from my original 7 day programmable one from a competitor. Its modern aesthetics are in line with the look in my house and I love it. My husband loves the large display showing the temperature and I love the energy savings. You can't go wrong with the purchase if you like saving money . Who doesn't want a smaller Energy bill?

This thermostat takes all the guess work out of the temperature in your home. It learns when you’re home and daily routines. So when I’m home, it stays cool, when we leave, it goes into eco mode and goes slightly up, but still comfortable for the doggy at home

Best thermostat ever

I wanted a smart thermostat that interfaced with my google home. After research decided on the NEST thermostat. Installation was incredibly easy using the NEST app and the device has worked perfectly since installation.
I would recommend it to anyone.

Peace of mind

We elected to purchase the Nest so that we could control the HVAC system in our retirement/vacation home. We are grateful that we can prevent high electric bills from occuring due to not being full time residents in the home for at least another year.

Great Technology, Power Problems

I can't give this item 5 stars because one of the two the thermostats I had lasted a little over year and had to be replaced, while the other is going strong. The troubleshooting process was difficult to understand because the thermostat wasn't telling me WHEN it was receiving lower-than-needed power. I just had to wait for the battery to run out. However, I love the energy stats, humidity readout, lockout mode, and the ability to set home and away in addition to the temp schedules. The sensors are an awesome addition and allow specific rooms to be targeted when setting a routing or schedule. Voice command w/ Alexa is AWESOME.
