I have owned the Nest cameras for several months and have been pleased with those so naturally I looked at the thermostat when mine needed replacing. Installation I thought was going to be complicated and was a breeze, all equipment needed was included and yes there was a screw driver in the box. Has worked great with no issues and love being able to control from the palm of my hand.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This thermostat is awesome. We use it at a remote location in our cabin. We use to huddle up in the cold waiting for catch up. Now we just open the APP turn it on and the place is warm before we get there. Additionally when I forget to turn it off no matter where I am at it can be dialed down. This is the most intuitive and convenient thermostat I have ever used. No more muti-time and date programs to save and watch for battery replacement.

Our Nest

We have two Nest Learning Thermostats in our home and love the modern look as well as how smart it is. Our Nest adjusts the temperature in the home according to whether we are at home or away from home and this reduces our heating bill. Aside from saving money, we have been absolutely comfortable in our home with Nest adjusting the temperature and learning our lifestyle. Wish I had changed over sooner!

Doing it Right

I would like to share that I looked at Smart Thermostats for 3 months before purchasing NEST. Upon arrival and installation I was glad I chose NEST. It looks great and it has already saved me some on my energy bill because of its learning system, it knows how cheap I am and its only been one month.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought this to update an old thermostat. It is amazing to see how our electricity bill has changed now that we use Nest. I especially like how the green leaf indicates when you are in eco-mode. It's easy to use and works great with Google Home.

A great solid product

When opening the packaging I was pleasantly surprised by the solid feel and craftsmanship of the Nest. It felt very solid and sturdy. The instructions were straight forward guiding you through the steps. There was also a reminder/warning on the box to go to a website that outlined what existing systems would and wouldn't work with the installation of the Nest. The Nest base was very well thought out and designed. It made the task of landing and terminating existing t-stat wiring very simple. Once the base was installed the Nest then slid and snapped firmly in place. Setting up for WiFi was the same as any other app or tablet. Once that was done it was walking you through the setup for date, time, etc. At a push of the solid transparent face I could access current weather and settings for cooling, heating and fan with a multitude of options. I also downloaded the app on my phone and have controlled the Nest from various locations in the house and off site. The furnace response seems even faster than the old programmable thermostat. I am enjoying the options and it is learning our schedules. In a few words, I love it!
