Nest Thermostat

I replace original thermostat In my home with a Nest. It was easy to install and its self-programming works great. I like the feature of operating the Nest from my iPhone. It is convenient using it inside the house as well as when I'm away. It is very easy to use and to read. I especially like the motion sensor. You can walk by it and it tells you what the setting is and the current temperature. It is a great product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nest is amazing!

Super easy to install! The nest paid for itself within a month! I rent a very very old house with hardly any insulation and in December of 2017, my power bill was nearly $600 (very cold temperatures) with my old thermostat. Throughout the next billing cycle, the nest was installed halfway through the month and my January bill (still very cold) was cut in half! I am very please with the results. I’ve never been so excited to pay a power bill! It’s early March and much warmer outside—my new bill just came out yesterday and was only $122! Compared to last year, our bills were around $250.

Great product but the Price is high

This thermostat and the app work great! Easy to install and connected quickly with wifi. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because the price is high compared to others. Would have bought more if the price was lower.

So Simple and Stylish

My previous thermostat was programmable for each day of the week and when our schedules changed it was difficult to update the settings. Installing the Nest Thermostat was easy since I have no AC so hooking up the two wires was quick and easy. After a few days the thermostat learned our schedule and now we wake up to a warm house. One feature I like is the ability to synch with my security system to turn down the thermostat when we are away and the alarm is set. I also like the fact that if I decide to get up early I can control the temp with my Apple iWatch.

Too Easy

I have been interested in the nest thermostat for awhile. I recently purchased the home monitoring system and have been pleased with that. From the second I opened the box I loved it. It was easy to install and very easy to setup.

I was gifted this for my 30th birthday and I am in love. I like seeing ways I can be smarter about the way I use energy and the Nest helps me to do that. I wouldn't go back to a traditional thermostat.

Great Product

The NEST Learning Thermostat is simple to install- almost anybody can install it. Not just the professional DIY'er.
It is easy to set-up and get it going.
It looks very nice and displays data as you approach the unit on the wall.
Items that surprised me:
Display of local outside weather in the area.
Display of errors in your furnace- example the burner shut down prematurely.
Printed material in the box need to be expanded, so customers do not get confused during installation or set-up. Example, the unit has a battery and has to recharged before installation. If you do not, you cannot connect to your router.
It is easy to set-up and get it going.
