I have used programmable thermostat through the years. The Nest is a giant step forward with helping me control both temperature, more Important the use of energy and the cost.

The Nest Learning Thermostat is easy to setup, program and use. It's also help bring your energy bill down and has a wonderful app for smartphone so u can control it from anywhere in the world. I love it and recommend everyone get one in there homes!!

I am enjoying my new learning thermostat. When I walk by it the face comes to life and lets me know what the temp is and what it is set to. I often walk through the door, only to say to my self what was I getting from this room? Many times in the past it was to turn down the heat before heading to bed. Now I get up in the morning and see the Nest T-stat has done it for me.
I love that the thermostat knows how long it will take to warm the house to the desired temperature and adjust its start time in relation to the outside temperature.

This is awesome! Love that I can control my thermostat. Especially when out of town and returning home I can cool down or heat up my house before I get there.
