my gas company was offering a rebate for a wifi thermostat, and the Nest has been great so far at reducing my energy consumption. It was very simple to set up. The thermostat is very easy to use, as is the phone app. The design of the product is very well thought out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing thermostat!!! Super easy to use!!! Super cute!! And when it's a hot or cold day and you forgot to adjust your a/c you can do it from your phone.

Outstanding product. I've never in my life installed or even messed around with a thermostat, yet there I was taking mine apart and installing the Nest. The clear instructions and the way the Nest was built to simplify installation is a godsend. Install it, turn it on, and let it do its thing. You'll have to manually set your temperature for about the first couple of days, but after that, the Nest would have recorded enough data to know your habits and automatically set the temperature itself. Also, it connects to your phone, thus knowing your location. Once you leave the house, it knows you did, and lowers the temperature accordingly. Overall, awesome product. Highly Recommended.

I purchase my first Nest recently and I could not be happier with the ease of installation or its performance. It is so easy to use and as advertised it does learn your habits and then sets itself to them, and you can change them so simply if needed.
I would buy one again if the home did not have one.

Nest Learning Thermostat

After I had removed my old thermostat, putting the nest up was a breeze. Most of my time was spent labeling the wires. Installed the wires in the correct spot, put the nest up and I was done installing. There was some set up that needed to be done after the install but the nest was very easy to work with.
