We received the Nest as a Christmas gift. We are thoroughly delighted with the look and features of the Nest. We like the simple design, the size of the numbers and the fact that the face of the Nest lights up day or night for easy reading. We are very energy conscientious, so we like the green leaf symbol which indicates we are in energy saving mode.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great ease of use and energy savings. Georgia Power has ongoing $100 rebate for its customers and bought with that and the Google assistant giveaway so win, win, win all around. Looks great and functions great as well.

I love the ease of operating of my nest. It is learning our patterns and it's so easy to see. I live checking the outside temperature just pressing on the nest. Can't wait to buy another one

One of the best home products you can buy

The look and feel, the capabilities for remote control, the learning ability of this device all put it at a level above any other thermostat. You can program it for a schedule, which it can abandon when no one is home (very smart), or you can just adjust it manually, from your phone or tablet, or standing in front of it. Turn it down after you've gone to bed, for example, or turn up the heat when you wake up, using your phone. The device itself is very solid and simple to touch and work with. The device's interface has everything you need, or you can adjust its properties, schedule, etc. using the web interface from your laptop, tablet, or phone. Both are well thought-out, simple, logical, and intuitive.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought the Nest because of ComEd's rebate. It arrived yesterday, so I don't know how much (or if) it will save me money on my bills. I can only comment on the installation and linking to Alexa, at this point. It was extremely easy to install, it took about 10 minutes. And once it was installed, downloading the Nest app, and linking it to Alexa was super easy as well. That took about another 5 minutes. It looks great on the wall, and I'm happy with it so far.

Thermostat looks great and is very easy to install and use. I'm very satisfied with it! The only thing I feel it needs is a better way to communicate with the Amazon Echo Dot.

Nest's learning smarts are clearly and significantly superior to Ecobee 4. It works like a charm with my Google Home! Automatically figures out the right temperature at the right time of the day/night once it learns my preferences.
