Can't beat free

Our public utility company was swapping out their old web assisted thermostat with these and include installation too.
Works great may add other Nest products because of this.

Love the Nest Thermostat

I love the Nest thermostat. It was super easy to set up and use. Our schedules a a bit crazy and changing a lot with shift work but even so I like the way the nest learns your use patterns. I was a bit reluctant to purchase it but I am super happy we decided to buy it.

So far, so good

So far using our Nest has been great and I expect to save some money. Our old basic thermostat was a pain to use and we always forgot to turn it down at night or when leaving for work. With the Nest we remember most of the time and with the away assist it automatically turns it down when we leave. It seems like it might be more accurate, or at least different, than our old thermostat. We've been setting the temperature 4-5 degrees lower on the Nest versus the old one and are just as comfortable. The only issue we had was with the screws during installation. Make sure the long screws that secure it to the wall properly thread through the mounting bracket. One of ours didn't and then broke off in the bracket. Other than that it was super easy to install.

This product does a lot of stuff. You can look all over the website for that information. What I like best about this product is that it's a beautifully designed product that just works. It does what it's designed to do and you just don't have to worry about it. Nest has designed an user-friendly elegant way to help you heat and cool your house without being intrusive. Well done.

Beautiful device

Had the Nest installed when replacing a furnace. It looks beautiful and works beautifully. The ability to program and monitor the furnace from a smartphone is awesome (only downside is trying to connect to an Alexa device is problematic).
The ability to keep our house at 60 degrees while away at our vacation cabin and then turn the heat back on from our phone before returning home is priceless.
Nest more than met our expectations and we highly recommend it.
