Best Hood for the money

This hood is good looking and does exactly what it is said to do. It's fairly quiet in operation and the two lights are actually quite bright. I am very impressed with the overall workmanship.

The hood is nice but I am disappointed that it has only one choice for the light - on or off. I would have liked a dim and bright option.

Good Hoodvent for Price

Bright lights, strong fan. Looks good. One small complaint is that you cannot cover the vent holds on top of vent that you would use if not venting out of house. Small amount of air comes out but very little and would look nicer if you could cover.

Poor ventilation and LOUD

Ventilation on side of stove and hardly ventilates. It is very loud. I don't cook anything that will smell the house, rather use outdoor grill.

My new GE range hood is sleek and stylish and compliments my new contemporary kitchen. It has 2 fan speeds and is relatively quiet. The halogen lighting is soft and efficient. The removable filter
covers hide any unsightly inner workings, so the visual effect is a cohesive unit. The filters are dishwasher safe so there will never be unsightly greasy residue. This range hood is also a great value given the reasonable price, effectiveness, and great appearance. It has been a good choice.

Disappointed in the stainless of this product

I was very disappointed when I installed this range hood. The stainless is rough and seems cheap. When I try to wipe it off with any type of cloth the lint from the cloth sticks all over the stainless. Wish I would have spent the little extra money to go with the more expensive model rather than this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
