Did not work and regret purchasing GE

Disappointed as post installation (ducted), the appliance: (1) doesn’t remove odors, smoke, etc. even while cooking a chicken breast on frying pan, (2) shakes the wall and floor, (3) is too loud. Purchased one level up from base model and am told by installer everything was done ok. Amazed that this model could not meet the most basic expectations and I highly regret purchase and doubt adequacy of any GE model now after initially being pleased with this purchase. Maybe I should have stuck with Broan, the previous model.Am told installer is willing to uninstall product and fully refund, I will need to seek help from different product and installer.

The lights are really beautiful and the unit looks nice. But the fan is way too loud. I cannot use it on high setting at all. Even low setting is too noisy.

This hood is very good at eliminating smoke and cooking odors. It's aesthetically beautiful and matches my stove. I guess my only criticism is it's a bit loud.
