Love but would like 1 improvement

I love this microwave drawer. It adds such a sleek look to my new kitchen and eliminates the need for a microwave either above the stove or on the counter. I would have given 5 stars but for one disappointment. BOSCH is a well respected name and I was surprised at this one little perk that was missing from the microwave drawer. Unless it's bright in the room it is very difficult to see the choices on the touch panel. I think once you touch "open" on the pad the panel should have a backlight so you can easily see where to touch for your choice. It's especially difficult for those of us needing reading glasses. So love this appliance but would like to see the panel light up. Just a suggestion to BOSCH.

Be aware of dimensions and clean lines

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Literally EVERY appliance out there measures slightly less than the specified width. 30" ovens measure 29 3/4 to allow you to create consistent reveals for beautiful, clean line kitchens. And if you look at the first measurement diagram here.. this too is under sized to align with other Bosch appliances.
However reality is that it measures 30" exactly. Why would you do this? Fix your diagrams. Had I known this I'd have gone with an alternative.

LOVE MY NEW DRAWER MICROWAVE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Saw this Bosch Drawer Microwave in a St. Jude Dream Home in Daleville, VA this summer and knew I had to have one (if I could justify the cost) when I did my kitchen remodel this fall. The fact that I was able to have this installed in the new island and it does not take up space on a counter or over a stovetop where the primary reasons I wanted the unit. I have been using it for about 3 weeks now and it is beautiful as well as being so multi-functional. Well worth the cost!

Our Bosch survived Hurricane Michael

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed our new Bosch in our newly completed house less than two months before Hurricane Michael hit east of us. We stayed in our house and it weathered the storm and once power came back on, the microwave was good to go again. We love the draw approach to microwaving. The touch screen does the work for us in opening and closing the drawer. It works great.

Drawer Microwave is Great!

Sleek look
