Overall a nice unit. One concern, fan is very noisy and loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this installed through my builder. Unit overall is good.Few concerns,Fan is very loud. Timer controls should be made easy. Would like that to be separate controls. Edges of the unit doors are sharp.

First Impressions are Good!

The Whirlpool Combination Microwave Wall Oven with Convection Cooking unit is very sleek and complements my kitchen nicely. So far it is up to the task of both cooking in the oven and microwaving. The buttons are a little tough to press but other than that I don't have any complaints. I can't speak to the longevity of the product as it was just installed a few weeks ago. I like that the microwave and oven are combined so I don't have to use counter space for a microwave. It would be nice if the oven was a bit larger since I am used to having the two ovens but so far it has been OK.

Noisy fan runs constantly

Great styling and looks good in the kitchen, but for the premium dollars spent the design is lacking. First the fan on the oven runs constantly and is loud, even with the convection feature turned off it runs and puts out lots of heat. I was told the fan runs to cool the electronics, but normal ovens do not need this cooling, and I do not know why this oven needs its fan to run constantly. The electronic buttons are hard to engage and you need to push hard to engage them, again for the price these controls should be touch sensitive such that you do not have to push them so hard.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the Look and Style

The combo Microwave and Wall oven was a package item with other kitchen applaince. I love the style and look of the appliance. I like tge fact you can not see the coil on the bottom which make it easier to clean. However, does not really cook or heat up to the standard. For example, following direction for items to heat up at certain temputare and time, I have to cook longer than the recomended time due to not hot enough or under cooked. Also, the oven is loud.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far oven/microwave working great.my only probem us that when I spilled bacon grease on the open oven door, it ran between the glass door and I cat figure out how to get rid if driplines. my next fix is th use a hairdryer and melts it away.

Beautiful new appliance and lots of new bells and whisles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just replaced our 14 year old Whirlpool Gold Series Oven Microwave combination with the brand new version. It was on back order for 3 weeks, but so far has been well worth the wait. There have been several nice upgrades after 14 years and so far we couldn't be happier.
