Sleek design and efficient performance

We've only had this combo for a few months, but are pleased. The lower oven is spacious and temp is spot-on. Holiday baking and entertaining was a breeze. Haven't had an opportunity to master the convection feature yet. The microwave is very quick compared to the 20-yr old model it replaces! The combo is very nice looking, and the stainless steel is nicely finished, resisting fingerprints somewhat better than the new fridge. We were challenged to find a combo unit that fit into a cabinet configuration we didn't want to alter. While this unit was perfect width/wise, it's a full 6 inches shy of the height we needed. Whirlpool offers just one trim kit, which extends the height by just about two inches. An internet search led us to a California company that produces trim kits that cover the gaps! The finished look is great. Two minor functionality negatives to note: fairly loud fan noise when baking, and the fan runs for quite a while after the oven is turned off. Also, the microwave door opens "top down" like the lower oven door, meaning you have to reach over it to get to your dish. A little awkward for someone who is 5'3" (need a step stool to wipe down the back wall!) but not a big deal. Overall, the oven combo is an attractive addition to our remodeled kitchen.

Smart microwave

I bought this appliance because I needed a new microwave and it would replace my existing system. I am so wonderfully happy with it. The microwave has wonderful features that make reheating and defrosting so easy. I love the fact that the dinner plate reheat setting senses how hot the food is and automatically adjust cooking time. The oven is slightly larger than my old one and made cooking a 22 pound turkey for thanksgiving simple. Thank you Whirlpool for a great product!

Easy to install and works well...a little bit of a learning curve for the controls.Fan noise is not bad.cooks evenlytakes a bit to warm up.

I love this combination!! looks great and cooks food at right temps. A bit noisy but that is the convection fan which I have never had before.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful wall unit that performs efficiently.. I love the convection feature, which cooks food much more evenly. The only redesign that I would recommend would be to make the control panel respond to a lighter touch. I feel that I am having to press the panel much too hard in order to set temps, timers, etc.

Looks nice, not super powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks nice, cleans easily on the outside. I find that the microwave and oven are not as powerful as my previous ones, but they still work as needed. It is definitely noisy when cooling down, but that is not something that bothers me very much. I've only had it for a month so I don't have too much experience with it.
