Works great!

The microwave oven combo works great and looks good in my kitchen. I only wish that instead of the lay down door, that they would make a side swing option for we height impaired people. For installation ease, it would be nice to plug into the old fashioned outlet in lieu of the hard wired tail.

Combination microwave wall oven

We purchased this to replace 14 year old microwave and wall oven. I did not realize this was one unit. My husband had to modify the space so that it would fit. There was an open shelf between the existing microwave and oven which had to be removed. It looks great and is fairly easy to operate. The fan does not bother us at all. I was concerned about it because several of the reviews mentioned how annoying it is. My 10 year old is tall enough to operate the microwave.

been in the market for a new oven and microwave combo unit. Saw the oven and looked at the specs.whirlpool website made it so easy and informative to install and even more on installing and making sure your new oven would fit in the cabinetry.installed new oven fit like a glove.thanks whirlpool

Some good and some not-so-good features

Buttons are much harder to push compared to our old Whirlpool. Also the plastic insert at the top, where the buttons are located, is pretty flimsy. The insert reflects too much light, and is cheap compared to the rest of the appliance.

Bought a home with no appliances, and really wanted the slate color collection from another manufacturer. But, no oven-micro wave combo available in the color. So, I selected the Whirlpool Gold in black. REALLY REALLY LIKE IT!! fit great, easy to install, and looks good with my cabinets - counter top! Works wonderfully. Kind of confusing on setting the timer, but, we have adjusted. I'd say worth it!!! :)

I really love the way it cooks. The only thing that I don't like is the door handle on the microwave. I would have liked it better if it opened from the side instead of opening in the front like the oven door. I am short and having trouble reaching the back of the microwave to clean it! Otherwise, I love it & it cooks so well!
