I bought this to replace a 16 year old Whirlpool micro/oven combo and this is just as good as my 16 year old model. Great purchase.

I had an identical Whirlpool Oven/Microwave unit for about 15 years before it malfunctioned. I decided to replace it with a new unit rather than repairing it to take advantage of new features such as convection baking.
I would recommend this to a friend!

DON'T PURCHASE THIS OVEN

We bought this oven only a year and a half ago. THe self cleaning function does not work on either unit. When we try to use the function, it shuts down and we have to have a technician come out. It has happened 3 times in the last 18 months and Whirlpool refuses to do anything. They even said we could get a "discounted" one from the service company. Oh yeah.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very loud fan

This oven came with a new house we bought. There is a loud and annoying whistling sound coming from the fan when it is in use. It continues to whistle long after the oven is turned off. We can hear the loud whistling sound throughout most of the living areas of the house. Annoying to the point that we are looking to replace it due to the noise.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Oven Great - Microwave Not So Much

The oven and the convect oven work nicely. Also, it is quite a nice looking unit. However, we have had nothing but difficulties with the microwave. Many times it says the door is open, when it is not, and you have to reopen the door before the microwave will work. And, almost daily, we have difficulties with the timer. It "locks" up somehow and will not allow you to set it. It's good that I have a timer on my refrigerator, since the microwave one refuses to work for us.

Easy to install and matched existing hole in cabinets. I did find the bottom vent before the oven quite sharp so I filed it down. Cooks better than the old one and bigger inside.
