Poor excuse for an Oven

DO NOT BUY THIS Oven. We have never had any luck with cooking in this oven. We have had it re-calibrated, and it will not get hot enough. We cook baked potatoes for 2 1/2 hours at 450 degrees and they are still hard as a rock. BUY ANY OTHER OVEN.THIS thing is the WORST I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Recommend with one reservation

Good features, easy to use, looks great. Only reservation is the noise level of the oven. It's noisy the entire time it is on. I know the fans are needed since it's in the wall but seems like it could be sound proofed better.

Excellent value

We selected this combination oven during a recent remodel after doing lots of research. This is a good product and good value. We've used the oven and microwave but haven't even begun to learn all of its capabilities. We've used them without ever once cracking the manual, so it's easy to figure out how to do the basics. We haven't used the "convection" features yet or adjusted recipes, but we'll learn. The best way to know what you really think is ask yourself "what you buy this same product", and the answer for us is yes. The only con is the noisy fan when the oven cools down. There might be a way to turn the fan noise off or reduce it, but as I said, I haven't opened the manual yet!

Design Flaws

Our home warranty company selected this product to replace an older microwave/oven unit when it stopped working. The microwave and oven both cook food fine, but there are several design elements that we do not like. For example, the microwave door drops down to open, which means that it gets in the way when you need to reach inside to clean the back wall of the microwave. (If my arms were about 4 inches longer it would not be a problem.) The microwave is noisy, and when the cooking is completed, this noisy motor continues to run for what seems to be a long time. The control buttons for the oven and microwave are not elevated, but flush, and it seems to require an inordinate amount of pressure to activate them. Stay away from this model if at all possible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am in awe of the space and convection power of this oven/microwave combo! I can bake six dozen cookies in 16 minutes! I enjoy cooking again!
