Aqualift Self Clean is HORRIBLE

I bought this model over a year ago. Hadn't used the oven very much. I just recently had to clean the oven. I followed the directions of removing the racks (they needed cleaning too), put the water in the bottom & turned it on for the 40 mins it recommends. When the cycle was complete, I still had to scrub to get it clean. I am used to self cleaning ovens that get hot enough to incinerate the "mess" into a grey powder that you can just wipe off. This cycle actually baked the grime on so it had to be scrubbed /scraped off. If you use/clean your oven often, this is NOT the model for you.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This product has great features

I like most of the features of the new range. The oven window is amazing, I can actually see without opening the door. I like the range top features as well.The only problem I have is that the drawer under the oven does not always close correctly. I have to reset it on the tracks nearly every time I open it.

So much faster to cook almost anything. Started fried chicken the other night and it was done in about 30 minutes!! Love the looks of the stove....really happy with this product.

Not a good compaeison to the last Whirlpool stove that I own

I missed the simmer feature, larger drawer space, solid construction feel, and superior stovetop of the previous model. Otherwise it appears to wok ok. Baking at 180 degrees F is a deciding feature.
