Easy to clean easy to use

I was so ready to get rid of my old coil electric stove and was excited to get the new glass top. It is so easy to use and clean up and I love to cook on it. My husband is enjoying the results as well.

Whirlpool 6.2 cu. ft. Capacity Electric Range

Bought 2 months ago. Nice looking appliance. Fairly easy to use after you read the manual and understand all the control functions. Do not like the on off cycling of the burners. I was told by the sales person this is so the glass does not overheat and get stressed. I am getting used to it. Also it takes a while for the oven to heatup because of the hidden lower coil. Claning the glass top is also a chore. Any food or water will stain the top. The only cleaner that worked to clean it up was Affresh with the scouring sponge. Then you have to work the cleaner into the glass like you were waxing a car until it almost dries and then buff it off. My old painted top range cleaned up with soap and water. But all glass tops are like this. I really like the big oven. I can put a very large 18 inch pizza in and close the door with no problem. If you want a glass top range I would recommend this range. Good value for the price.

I bought this about 2 mos ago. It is a visual very nice looking stove. I am new to convection so i am trying to learn how to use it. I love the mix of stainless and black. It goes well in kitchen. The upper display is glass and looks and cleans great. You will be happy with this stove.

Less than I had wanted

This range is not what I was shopping for and I ended up with it as a replacement for my earlileer purchase. (isn't that confusing) But it is not a true self clean. Its controls do not keep the food at even temperature and the One feature I was sure to use, bread proofing, is not even in it. This range was a poor choice on my part as it did not meet my original list of "wants." I ended up with it as a replacement for an unsafe range I had purchased.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just redid my kitchen with all new Whirlpool appliances. I don't normally cook much myself, and this thing is loaded with features I'll probably never use...but it's nice to know they are there. I have actually found myself cooking more now so it's definitely getting good use. It definitely adds to the atmosphere of my small kitchen. Pleanty of surface/burner space and the warming plate is a nice touch. I like the energy saver mode. And the multi rack system inside makes cooking multiple items a breeze. Haven't tried the convection feature yet though.

I love this Electric Range. It is the best range I have ever owned. I am a first time user of the Convection Cooking System. Works great and is a time saver in the kitchen.

The range was very easy to install and set up. It has very nice features that are easy to understand. The oven is a very good size and is versatile. I really like the hot surface warning light for safety .
