Whirlpool Gold 6.2cu. Electric Range

This is the first time I've owned a glass top stove. I love everything about this stove except the fact the the oven is only steam clean with no other option. The steam clean feature is nice except it takes a lot more muscle to get it clean. The glass top is easy to care for and the temperature stays at an even temp.

Very happy with the new Whirlpool range

The range is awesome. The cooktop is easy to clean. The oven capacity is huge; I was able to put a large turkey as well as 3 side dishes at the same time. It works very well,and evenly browns the food. The convection option is very convenient for faster cooking. Overall I really love the Whirlpool Gold electric range!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great cooking center

This is the 1st solid surface range we ever owned. We weren't sure if we would like it, but quickly realized we had nothing to worry about. It's easy to keep clean, and it's easy to use. Also, the oven is large and is also so easy to use.

Wish I could have tried it before I bought it

I have been using it for about a month. It's a great size interior. That and the three racks are what sold me. However, it seems to be slow to heat up. The buttons have to really be pressed hard to work (I guess we may be spoiled with touch screens these days, but it does seem more difficult than my previous oven to operate.). Lastly, and most disappointing is how much heat escapes into the room. Oven does not seem as well insulated as my previous oven. I guess this would be a good thing for someone in a cold climate, but I live in the deep south! the look of it is beautiful and the stove top seems to work great! It's not a bad oven. I just wouldn't recommend it because I'm sure there's something a little better out there.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased this oven in early July. I can't complain about anything on it to this day. I've used the cooktop more than the oven but when I have used the oven it does seem true to it's description of cooking more thoroughly, brownies seem more fluffy too. :) I love the look of it and the huge window on it.

Great purchase

I bought this a month ago. Great features and very easy to use. The oven space is large and allows you to cook multiple items at the same time. The split rack is fantastic. I am not overly fond of the bottom drawer, it's rather small, but it can hold baking sheets. A great purchase!

Perfect oven

I have my new Whirlpool oven for a month now, it simply cooks better than any oven I have previously had. Temperature is on point, always accurate. Clean up is a breeze.

Not the top of the line but good for the value

I like the oven. The top of the line items were very attractive but, really, was I going to use all of those features! I am happy with my purchase. The self-cleaning feature is great--less than an hour! Unless you are planning on some over the top cooking, this is a great oven for the reasonable price!
