Great Range!

Have had the range for about two weeks now and are pleased so far. I was concerned in ordering this range because many folks indicated the top was easy to scratch. I am guessing folks did not read the instruction manual because we have had not problem keeping our top clean and scratch free.

I came from a 1950s stove. This range is so accurate I have had to learn how to cook on a wonderful range self cleaning its beautiful.

This stove has worked well, the oven temp runs pretty accurate (I do use a secondary internal oven thermometer.) I am not a fan of glass tops, and the newer ones are so hard to clean, but this one is not bad. I really love the oversized glass front. Many times I can see how baking is going without using the light.

High Maintenance Cooktop!

Have had new range two weeks. Cooktop needs to be cleaned and shined after each use; too high maintenance! Accidentally spilled a small dot of sugar which was difficult to remove and left a permanent mark.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this oven!

I have been using this oven for about a month and love it! Once I found out more about the quality stove top and researched how best to care for it, I began to understand what a nice oven I have! The cooking is even & delicious. Baked goods come out perfect, although I'm having to get used to the cooking time being a bit longer (I had to watch out for.burning with my old oven...not this one)!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I didn't think I needed a new electric range stove, but when our 10 year old unit had problems, we bought this from Alliance Appliance in Pittsfield, MA. I love it!

In the middle of getting dinner ready a few weeks ago, I saw a flash of light through my electric range oven window. The coil was afire! I called my husband, and we worried what might happen when it made the curves around to the end of the coil. So he got a tool and bumped the flaming coil to break its progress.I couldn't wait for a repairman, so we went shopping for another stove. In the past three years we have had to replace our refrigerator, hot water tank and microwave; they are all Whirlpool now.There's no way on earth I will ever buy anything but a smooth top range. We found our match: a Whirlpool, smooth top, black and silver (the color we needed) with the regular two large burners and two small ones. But this range has a warmer burner as well as convection and rapid pre-heat capabilities. More terrific extras than I've ever had before. One of my constant complaints with my old range was it seemed to take literally forever to pre-heat.It also has the Aqualift Cleaning Technology. Never heard of that, but what a dream to clean the oven now! No more 2 or 3 hour cleaning cycles, with a smelly odor, and no telling how much more cost in electricity! Seems like I can't help letting cherry pie juice or cheesy enchilada casseroles run over. Well, they did run over in my new oven, and I had to use the oven for 2 or 3 more recipes before I had time to clean it. So I fudged a little because I was in a hurry and poured a cup of hot water in the bottom of the oven, let it sit awhile, then used paper towels and practically wiped it clean with a few swipes in only a few minutes.I'm really enjoying my new stove! I like to click "Bake" and then choose the degrees I need. I like to click "Timer" and then choose the minutes I want. I like the ease of setting the clock and turning the oven light on and off. It's as simple as punching buttons! My dishwasher will be the next item to go out, and I will certainly be looking at your Whirlpool line to replace it.
