Very nice upgrade

The stove and oven are well designed, controls are intuitive, and overall it 'feels' like a quality machine. The oven is larger than any I've used before and the convection fan is quite and unobtrusive. It should have been obvious to me but for some reason I din't focus on it before purchase is that the bottom drawer is small due to the large oven and hidden lower element. Something to consider if you have a small kitchen and depend on the drawer for storage.

Huge oven

I bought the oven about six weeks ago. I chose it specifically because I wanted a large oven and black with only a small amount of stainless trim. It works okay, but I've had trouble getting muffins that I've made for years to brown properly without drying out. I'm surprised at how flimsy the metal sides and storage door are, and it has a very sharp point on one side of the oven door handle. The oven also throws off a lot of heat, something I was hoping would have improved over the years. I guess I was expecting more for the price and for it being American made. I haven't yet used the cleaning option, so I hope it performs well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
