I bought this refrigerator less than 2yrs. ago. The compressor already broke. Since I did not buy an extended warranty, I have to buy a whole new refrigerator. This one was too small, the lights were always in the way when reaching in, anything touching against the back wall freezes, and we have to kneel down when getting anything out because it is so low. I definitely was not ever happy with this product. It always made weird noises too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

purchased this fridge about 4 months ago. We absolutely love it. Its quiet, keeps perfect temp.In black it is a beautiful thing to look at, just a great buy. I wish it was still available because I would love another one for my basement

This is the 4th replacement refridgerator in the past year, different model this last time. Like the other 3 it constantly has frost & ice in the freezer and on the door shelves.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First GE Product bought. Very nice looking frig. The only complaint I have is, I wish the freezer was a little smaller, because it takes away more space in the frig. My last frig did not have such a large freezer and I had more space in the frig part. But overall it is a great frig for the money. Yes I would recommend. Oh, one more thing, we had an ice maker in this frig and a piece of plastic was inside the tubing which caused the ice maker to leak water into the freezer and my basement before we knew it was leaking, frustrating. They came and fixed it, this could have been avoided, if during manufacturing. they were taking care of how they put out a product. Take a little PRIDE IN YOUR WORK!!!

Should have been more careful choosing

We had trouble with the refrigerator in the beginning. Apparently the service person that reversed the doors didn't do it properly. We found out when the light bulbs in the refrigerator part went out in a few weeks. Once we had that fixed and had the correct replacement bulbs (provided by GE) it works better. However it still runs cold...refrigerator part runs about 30 degees on a 4 setting. If our old refrigerator hadn't just quit one day, I'd have taken more time choosing the replacement one. The ice cubes in this one one are very small, sometime hollow, and all over the freezer shelf below it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love all the drawers and shelves. But sometimes it see to be running a little loud. This gets annoying at times. I am not sure if this is the Product or something else. i have only had this Product for 7 months.
