Fabulous projector!

We did a lot of research to find a small, lightweight projector that could throw a short distance. The PowerLite 1751 was so good and so easy to use that we purchased a 2nd one a couple of years later.

Projector Replacement

I bought this projector to replace a previous Epson model. I wanted a smaller projector that gave a clearer image and could be used with room lights on. This projector met my needs. I project Power Point programs and the images are bright and crisp. Once selling point was the ability to hook up the projector using a USB cable. However, the projector lagged behind the computer when using that cable so that transition and animation effects appeared in slow motion. At that point I hooked up the projector using the HDMI connection and everything was fine. However, you do loose the ability to used the remote control to advance the slides. I believe that you can then hook up the USB cable which will then allow the remote to "talk" to the computer. Over all I'm impressed with the product and would recommend it.

A stellar projector for any speaker

We have the 1750 - its predecessor and this without a doubt is the lightest & brightest projector, easiest to setup, auto screen alignment and adjustment - easily works with Mac or PC - its professional machine for a professional speaker - totally worth every penny. When other systems fail, and there have been plenty of times, we always carry this one and it has bailed us out of a projector failure numerous times when show hosts dont get decent equipment.

Runs very Hot

We demo'd this unit and noticed out of the box it ran extremely loud and hot. Changed the setting to ECO and it quieted down considerably. Seems like the small form factor size makes the unit generate a lot of heat. Not Sure if Epson will make it run cooler. But the small form factor is the key to this unit.
